Vacuum and Blowing Solutions (VABS Ltd) is New Zealand's biggest vacuum pump and low-pressure blower supplier. They service multiple industries, and have seen rapid growth in the last several years.

This part, a component for VABS' Air Knife product, replaces a version made from carbon ABS. It's printed in Onyx, a chopped carbon fiber reinforced nylon. It endures both high-load compression and exposure to harsh washdown chemicals, a combination which degrades ABS parts over time. The Onyx version is far more durable and chemically resistant — zero failures so far — and more cost-effective to produce.
